STOP THE CLOCK Just in time for our 40th anniversary, DOXA is pleased to announce the launch of our new VINTAGE SUB SERIES, and the release of the DOXA SUB 1000T Professional. The orange legend is re-born in a limited edition of 5000 pieces, available exclusively here on the DOXA website. TURN BACK TIME Everything old is new again - the look of the original 1967 DOXA SUB, combined with the high quality and dependability of a brand new DOXA SUB. We have used a slightly domed crystal to help capture the look and feel of the early plastic crystals used on the models from the 60s. In addition, we've designed a matte orange dial, employing a slightly green toned superluminova for the markers and hands to help capture the aged look of these classic older models. Bigger is better…not always - With a diameter of just over 42 mm, the DOXA 1000T Professional is the perfect answer for those looking for a smaller sized SUB. Staying true to the size and look of the original, the case is an up-to-date replica of the original DOXA SUB from 1967. Retro looks with modern technology - The SUB 1000T Professional is made from a single block of stainless steel, with an upgraded depth rating of 1000 meters (3280 feet). A solid 120-tooth stainless steel bezel, solid piece end links, and a thicker, more substantial bracelet have all been added as well. A 100% Swiss-made self-winding movement is the engine driving the SUB 1000T Professional, and just like the original, it comes with DOXA'S patented no-decompression dive table bezel. When we sat down to plan the next DOXA SUB release,
we had 2 goals:

technically speaking

to incorporate the feedback of our customers into a new release by adding a new series with the highest similarity to the vintage DOXA SUB.
to expand the DOXA SUB watch line in order to be able to offer the most complete mechanical dive watch collection in the watch world today, that covers meets almost every tase.

On the way to achieving the greatest similarity to the 1967 model, we used the following design guidelines:

same case size as the first SUB300T of 1967
a very slightly domed crystal to achieve the vintage look of the early plastic crystal
an orange matt dial like the vintage SUB
slightly green toned Superluminova to give this aging look of the vintage models

Making the SUB 1000T the prefect choice for those who have been searching for a vintage DOXA SUB and missed on it. Also at those who prefer standard sized cases with 42mm diameter.

Keeping the above in mind, we also incorporated many customer's requests to improve the breed, by applying the following improvements:

an upgraded depth rating of 1000 Meters
solid 120 teeth bezel
the typical DOXA crown with the bezel teeth edge
the solid endlinks
a thicker bracelet

Throughout the design and developmenet phase,
there was no intension to substitute
or replace existing models.
The SUB 1000T is a homage to the
first DOXA SUB of 1967
with the highest
resemblance to
the vintage model
that was reissued
to date.

Case	Satin brushed solid stainless steel (316L). 44.50 mm including lugs, 44.60 mm lug to lug, 42.70 mm diameter excluding crown, with a height of 14.60 mm. Water resistant to 1000 Meters/3280 ft.

Case back	Solid Steel screw down case back. Engraved with limited edition number xxxx/5000

Bezel	Unidirectional stainless steel, engraved with the US Navy non-Decompression table [bezel operating instructions]
